Broadband initiative for local children - 23rd September

Broadband Internet connection is very much the hot topic of the moment, bringing the benefits of high-speed communication to homes and businesses worldwide.

For families, using Broadband is ideal for homework. Using the Internet for research is much quicker, allowing large documents, reports and web pages to be accessed immediately and downloaded in seconds.

Other uses include downloading videos or music, playing online games or just general web surfing. Its all much faster than a traditional modem and as it shares your existing phone line it doesn’t interfere with incoming and outgoing phone calls.

In a campaign to bring the benefits of broadband to the community, Farnham business Link Connect, an Internet Services Provider is championing broadband locally to help children and their schools get the maximum benefit from this new technology.

Instead of the standard monthly price of £29.99, Link Connect has made broadband available to Farnham families at a special price of only £25.99 a month, with a donation of £5 made to a local school of their choice. Business connections are available from £64.99 (& VAT) with £20 donated to the chosen school.

To order broadband or to find out more information, call Link Connect’s broadband help line on 0870 741 5440 or visit www.lcbroadband.com/schools
