For Home 500 and Biz 500 products (single users):

Pentium 200Mhz
32MB RAM
16-bit sound card
4-speed CD-ROM player
Video card/display 800 x 600, 256 colours
150MB free on hard drive
Windows 98SE, ME, 2000 Professional or XP
An available USB port
In addition to the above, business PLUS products require 10/100baseT Network Adaptor + RJ45 connector.
Note: Business PLUS products are also compatible with Windows 95, NT4 Workstation SP3. USB products are not compatible with Windows NT4 or dual processors.

For Biz 1000 and Biz 2000

Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000 Professional, NT4 Workstation or XP
180Mb free on hard drive
10baseT Network Adapter with RJ45 connector
CD-ROM drive
16-bit sound card
Video card and monitor capable of 800 X 600 resolution, with 256 colours

How do I check my PC spec?
  Pentium 200Mhz/32MB RAM - right click: 'My Computer'; 'Properties'; 'General'
16-bit sound card - check hardware documentation (most recent computers have 16-bit sound)
4-speed CD-ROM player - if other specs okay, your CD-ROM should be okay
Video card/display 800 x 600, 256 colours - click: 'Start'; 'Settings'; 'Display'; 'Settings'
150MB free on hard drive - right click: 'My Computer'; 'Properties'; 'Performance'
Windows 98, 98SE, ME or 2000 Professional or NT4 Workstation SP3 - right click 'My Computer'; 'Properties'; 'General'
An available USB port - see PC or hub for free USB socket (rectangular)

Mac OS 8.6 up to OS 9.0

How do I uninstall the drivers and LCBroadband software?
  Please refer to the LCBroadband USB installation instructions which has details of uninstalling the software.

Can the helpdesk help solve problems with my computer?
  No. The helpdesk is there to help you with problems relating specifically to the Broadband service and its dedicated hardware and software, if provided by LCBroadband.
Please note that if you have provided your own hardware, the helpdesk will not be able to assist you with regards to your modem/router.
For help with computer or own modem problems, you should contact your PC supplier.

Can I use Microsoft FrontPage to edit my site?
  Yes, you can use Microsoft FrontPage to upload your pages, but please note LCBroadband does not support FrontPage extensions.
