| What
is the effect of installing ADSL on my alarm line?
|
| |
Most alarm systems will operate
as normal, but some which use 'out of band' (greater than
4khz) signalling will be incompatible. To check whether
your alarm system is compatible please refer to your alarm
system manual or provider.
Red ABC and RedCare are known incompatibilities. |

| Why
do some applications not work with LCBroadband business
(Ethernet) broadband services using Nat set up?
|
| |
Because LCBroadband business
DEFAULT products use NAT, the router can not forward unsolicited
traffic to the end users computer. This precludes the
use of certain applications (e.g.H.323 based applications,
NetMeeting, SMTP server hosting). |

 |
| Do the
business products support the Windows 98 internet connection
sharing capability?
|
| |
We offer a similar functionality
to that provided by Windows 98 connection sharing as we
allow multiple PCs to share a single subscriber line.
The Windows 98 connection sharing capability is therefore
unnecessary with this product. LCBroadband do not support
Windows 98 connection sharing capability. |

We do support up to 4 computers, each directly connected,
to the Business Plus (Ethernet) router. We do not support
any network configuration between customers' computers. |
