| With a traditional modem
or ISDN connection you have to dial up at pre-set intervals
to send and receive email. This is usually every 30-60
minutes. Typical connection problems include dial up
difficulties, engaged lines, broken connections and
slow or sluggish service during peak times.
With broadband the connection is constant. Effectively
this means that the Internet is always on and accessible
to use the instant you require it and dialing up difficulties
are no longer encountered. For each employee accessing
the Internet several times per day, this saves a significant
amount of time and eliminates the frustration of waiting. |
